Santa Claus is always the main attraction at any Christmas Parade.
And, the Grand Falls-Windsor edition of the popular winter showcase was a prime example of that.
As the sounds of the parade drew closer to the Church Road Park on Dec. 7, people exited their vehicles, children stopped sliding on a nearby hill and others moved to the sidewalk in an attempt to get closer to the action.
Along the rest of the parade route, it was much of the same as many hundreds came out for the annual Christmas showcase.
They were treated to emergency vehicles decked out for the parade, floats, dancers and free candy for the children.
Below are some scenes from the parade.
