Stolen boat recovered, motor still missing

STEPHENVILLE, N.L. - A boat and trailer stolen from a Point au Mal residence last week has been recovered, however, a motor attached to the boat is still missing.

The Bay St. George RCMP say the beige 19.5-foot boat was towed away from the owner’s property on its galvanized trailer sometime overnight on June 14 was found on June 19.

Police are continuing to look for the 50 horsepower Yamaha outboard motor.
