A pair of teenagers from Bay Roberts were arrested by the RCMP in relation to a break and enter at Shearstown home Tuesday morning.
Just before 8 a.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity near the Shearstown Community Centre. On the scene, officers found that an unoccupied home under construction had been illegal entered and a number of tools inside had been stolen.
The investigation led to the arrest of two youth who have since been released to their parents with order to appear in court at a later date. There, they'll face charges of break and enter and theft under $5,000. The investigation is continuing.
Police recovered all of the stolen property and returned it to the homeowner.
