CORNER BROOK, N.L. — The Western Regional Waste Management’s six transfer stations in the western region reopened to the public on Monday, June 8.

The Western Regional Service board, operator of the waste management service, said in a press release all sites would be resuming regular operation hours.

The hours of operation for the sites — Burgeo-Ramea, Southwest Coast, St. George’s, Wild Cove, Hampden and Long Range — vary and can be found online at www.wrwm.ca.

The board also reopened and resumed normal hours at its administrative office in Corner Brook.

Residents visiting the sites are required to maintain safe physical distancing of two metres (six feet) from staff and others. They should also anticipate delays as the sites may be busy at this time.

The office at 14 Main St. will be open for account payments and general inquiries. Social distancing guidelines are posting on the door.
