A 24-year-old woman is probably wishing she’d stayed away from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police detachment in Holyrood Tuesday evening.

The woman was accompanying a man who had to sign in with the RCMP office when officers on the lot checked her file and found that she was wanted on three outstanding warrants.

She was detained by RCMP and turned over to Royal Newfoundland Constabulary officers who transported her to the lockup where she awaited a court appearance this morning.
