RNC arrest, charge suspect in connection with Paradise gas station armed robbery

The RNC has confirmed that a red Ford Escape involved in a head-on collision with another vehicle Saturday in Long Pond was stolen.

A 29-year-old man is facing armed robbery and disguise with intent charges at provincial court this morning in relation to a robbery at a Paradise gas station on Monday afternoon.

Stolen items and the weapon used in the offence were both recovered.

There were no injuries.
