Shortly before 2:30 a.m. Saturday morning, Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) officers responded to a complaint at a nightclub in downtown St. John’s where a man was allegedly in possession of a Taser.

According to the RNC report, police arrested a 20-year-old man for possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and carrying a concealed weapon. 

He was held for court in the morning.
