Royal Newfoundland Constabulary officers apprehended two men sought on outstanding warrants in St. John’s on Monday.

Responding to a disturbance at a medical clinic in the city’s west end, officers recognized a 39-year-old male with outstanding warrants. The individual unsuccessfully attempted to flee when officers tried to arrest him.

A few hours later in the Campbell Avenue area, a 45-year-old man also attempted to flee police when they recognized him and moved to make an arrest.

Both men were held for court appearances today.
