It’s -6C with light snow forecast for the metro region this morning. The wind chill is  -13C. Environment Canada predicts it will be mainly cloudy with periods of snow early this morning. Amount of  5 cm expected except locally 10 cm in areas of heaviest snow. Winds will be  southwest 30 km/h gusting to 50 becoming light late this afternoon.

Snow will end this evening, when it will become mainly cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of flurries. The area could see up to two additional centimetres. Winds will become north 50 km/h gusting to 70 this evening with a temperature low of -11C.

A mix of sun and cloud is expected for Sunday with 40 per cent chance of flurries in the morning. Clearing in the afternoon. Wind north 50 km/h gusting to 70 diminishing to 30 gusting to 50 in the afternoon. High will be -7, low will be -9C.
