A St. Anthony man is facing charges of possessing cannabis and cannabis derivatives for the purpose of trafficking.

Geoffrey Byrne, 26, appeared in court this morning, Sept. 14.

St. Anthony RCMP arrested Byrne yesterday after a drug investigation resulted in the seizure of nine pounds of cannabis, a number of packages of shatter, a derivative of the drug, as well as a small sum of money.

His next court date is scheduled for Dec. 11.
