A taxi crashed into a ditch in Paradise during a two-vehicle collision which sent one man to hospital.
The collision happened at the intersection of Topsail Road and Topsail Pond Road just before 11 p.m., causing significant damage to both cars.
The driver of the taxi was uninjured but the male passenger was taken to hospital to be treated for injuries that were not considered serious. No one in the second vehicle was injured.
The RNC is investigating the incident.
