A two-vehicle crash at Topsail Road and Columbus Drive sent a man to hospital with a head injury Sunday morning.
The collision happened between a pickup and a taxi at about 6:45 a.m. and caused extensive damage to both vehicles.
The man, who was a front-seat passenger in the taxi, was conscious and talking when paramedics bandaged his head to transport him to hospital.
A report from the scene indicate he was apparently not wearing a seatbelt when the crash happened.
Both the truck and taxi were extensively damaged.
There were no other serious injuries.
