ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — RNC patrol services pulled over a vehicle in the west end of the St. John’s Saturday night and arrested a 38-year-old man and his passenger.

The man was found to be driving without a valid insurance policy and a suspended driver’s licence.

His vehicle was impounded and a police check discovered the driver had a parole warrant in effect for his arrest. He was taken to St. John’s City Lockup.

Police also discovered that the 29-year-old woman who was a passenger in the vehicle had an active warrant out for her arrest. She was arrested and also transported to the lockup
