There were no injuries when a van crashed into a snowbank on a lawn in the east end of St. John’s Saturday night.
It appears the driver went through a stop sign and tried to brake before jumping a sidewalk and hitting the snowbank.
Three RNC vehicles were on scene when the Telegram arrived and one man was being questioned by police as he sat in the back of a police cruiser.
The vehicle appeared to have suffered some damage to its front end.
