HOLYROOD, N.L. — A vehicle was impounded and the driver’s licence suspended after police clocked it traveling 51 kilometres per hour above the speed limit on the Trans-Canada Highway Wednesday, Feb. 13.
Thirty-three summary offence tickets were issued that afternoon over a three-hour period as part of a joint traffic enforcement effort that involved Holyroold RCMP, the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary and the RCMP’s traffic services unit. They were stationed near Paddy’s Pond.
