Adelaide GEORGE

GEORGE Adelaide January 18, 1942 - September 29, 2020 Passed peacefully away from dementia in the presence of her children in St. John’s, NL at the age of 78. Adelaide was the daughter of Stella and Gerry Kelly of St. Lawrence, NL. Adelaide was always smiling, full of good humour and stories. She spent her life taking care of others. She was the Best Mom Ever. Pre-deceased by her husband Baxter in 2013 and sister Leone Easton in 2014. She will be dearly missed by her son Brian George; daughter Debbie Walker; son-in-law Steve and grandchildren: Avery and Matthew. Also leaving to mourn are her sisters and brothers-in-law: Marie and Wince Winter, Jean and Al Manning, Alonzo and Daphne Kelly, Howard Easton, Earl and Rebecca George, Ray George, Wilson and Sharon George. She was a beloved Aunt to her nieces and nephews. To the amazing staff at the Glenbrook Lodge who looked after Mom for the last four years, your kindness will always be remembered. Adelaide and Baxter will be laid to rest together in St. John’s at a future date.
