COLLINS Agnes (Hibbs) Surrounded by her loving family, Agnes (Hibbs) Collins, age 95, passed away peacefully at Agnes Pratt Home on October 19, 2019. She was predeceased by her husband Philip; grandsons Steven and David; great granddaughter Maggie; and son in law Russell. Agnes is also predeceased by her parents Jacob and Elizabeth Hibbs; brothers Robert (Violet) and Jonathan (Mariah); Sisters Eliza (Frank), Gertrude (Eleazer), and Effie (Walter); Brother in laws Wilfred (Annie), Roland, Quince, and sister in law Jane (Daniel). Leaving to mourn with special memories are children: Clyde (Gwen), Elizabeth (Bruce), Norman (Agnes), Marilyn, Jacob (Diane), and Gary (Kate); Grandchildren Elaine (Doyle), Tina (Scott), Todd (Tonya), Angela (Robert), Chris (Tiffany), Amanda (Kevin), Kyla (Andrew), and Andrew (Samantha). Great grandchildren Jessica, Gracie, Dennis, Daniel, Philip, and Steven; as well as special nephew Derrick and great nephew Jason; Brothers in law Pearce (Ella) and Baxter (Elizabeth); and sister in law Pearl; special friend Carol Ann (Ross); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, friends and past home care workers. A special thanks to the staff of Agnes Pratt Nursing Home for their care and compassion during moms stay. Resting at Carnells Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on October 21 from 2-9 p.m. and October 22 from 10 am -9 pm. Funeral to be held on October 23rd from St. Lawrence Anglican Church, Portugal Cove at 11:00 am. with interment to follow at St. Lawrence Anglican Cemetery, Bauline Line Ext.
