MURPHY Martin A. Passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving family while in the comfort of his home on Wednesday, April 7th, 2021, Martin A. Murphy, Colliers - Age 85 years. Predeceased by his wife Jean; granddaughter Chasity Noseworthy; parents: Timothy and Anne Murphy; brother Michael (Dot); sister-in-law Rose Murphy; parents-in-law: Joseph and Eita Cole; sisters'-in-law: Lorraine Conway (Tim), Anna McGrath, and Betty Cole; and brothers'-in-law: Fidelis Whittle, and John Harte. Leaving to mourn his children: Joe (Deb), Anne Marie Lewis, Keith, Tina, Kim (Tom Ryan), Dan (Josee), and Don (Janet); grandchildren: Samantha (Daniel), Ryan (Breanna), Shawn, Tyler (Allison), Katlyn, Kelly, Meah, and Danika; and great-granddaughter Avery Jean Murphy. Also, brothers and sisters: Mary Teixeira (Julian), Tim (Lorraine), Will (Judy), John, Marg Corbett (Val), and Betty Anne McCarthy (Eddy); in-laws: Bill Cole, Noreen Whittle-Harte, Germaine Crawley (Francis), Barbara Murphy (Jerome), Joe Cole (Cathy), and Mary Holly (Wayne), and their families. Special longtime family friends Catherine and Philip McDonald and their family. Resting at Flaherty's Memorial Funeral Home, 70 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Harbour, with visitation on Saturday, April 10th, from 2:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 11th, from 2:00 pm - 9:00 p.m. Respecting COVID-19 Regulations, please remember to practice "Social Distancing" during the visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will take place from Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Colliers, on Monday, April 12th, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Colliers, in the Family Plot.
