Albert Edgar Hibbs

Passed away peacefully on March 12, 2019 at the Health Sciences Centre in the presence of his loving family, Albert Edgar Hibbs, age 76 years. Predeceased by his loving mother Eliza (Frank), special grandmother Elizabeth Hibbs (Jacob), and uncle Jonathon and aunt Maria, also his mother and father-in-law Joseph and May Mahoney. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 51 years Carol Ann (nee Mahoney), best buddy brother Derrick (Donna), sisters Gertie (Roy, deceased), Emily (Bob), sisters-in-law Josephine Clowe (Eric, deceased) and Shirley Neary (Doug), aunt Agnes Collins, nieces, nephews, cousins and special and dear friends Ray and Gisele Parsons. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the Emergency nurses and staff at the Health Sciences Centre, especially Dr. Jamie Farrell and the ICU doctors who supported the family. The family would also like to thank Rev. Amanda Taylor who has provided continuous comfort and support, as well as Health Sciences Centre Chaplain Rev. Keeping. Cremation has taken place. As per Albert’s wishes, no visitation will take place. Funeral service will be held from St. Lawrence Anglican Church, Portugal Cove, on Friday, March 15 at 11 am.
