Alma Patience Berkshire

Passed peacefully away at the Hilltop Manor, Arnold’s Cove on June 11, 2018, Alma Patience Berkshire (nee Slade) of Arnold’s Cove formerly of Kingwell, aged 75 years. Predeceased by her husband, Captain Raymond Berkshire, parents, Frank and Lillias Slade, brother, Roy, and sister Una. Left with loving memories are her sons Terry (Pauline) and Glenn (Gladys), brother, Edmund (Jeanette), sister, Linda (Joe), grandchildren, Melissa, Daniel, Abbigail, and Malcolm, and a circle of extended family and friends. Heartfelt thanks to the employees of Hilltop Manor who have become our second family through the last three-and-a-half years. Your warmth and kindness will not be forgotten. Visitation will take place at Fewer’s Funeral Home in Arnold’s Cove on Wednesday June 13 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM and Thursday, June 14 from 10 AM to 12 PM. Funeral to follow on Thursday, June 14, at 2 PM from First United Church, Arnold’s Cove with interment at Interfaith Cemetery, Arnold’s Cove. Donations in her memory may be made to the First United Church of Arnold’s Cove.
