Arnold Chafe — ST JOHN'S

CHAFE Arnold James Passed peacefully away on May 18, 2019 in the presence of his loving family and into the arms of Jesus, Arnold James Chafe, age 90 years. Predeceased by his parents James and Suzanna Chafe, wife Josephine, infant son Arnold, grand daughter Kayla and great grand daughter Abigail. Leaving to mourn his three daughters whom he cherished, Jackie (Curtis) Whitten, Susan (Robin) Cuff and Kimberley Chafe with whom he resided; 6 grandchildren Alicia, Trevor, Terri Lynn, Ashley, Travis and Kaitlyn; 6 great grandchildren, Kamrin, Jaden, Mackenzie, June, Skylar, Grayson; one brother Frank L Chafe; sisters-in-law Mary (Joe)Tilley, Marie Weir, Maureen Coady; one very special niece Barbara Best and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends that all held a special place in his heart. Special thanks to Dr Seamus Zhang for his house visits to dad over the past two years. Thanks to Dr. Iqbal, Dr. Michael Curran and all the nursing staff of 7 West at St Clares Hospital for their professionalism and care. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue with visitations on Monday, May 20, 2019 from 2pm-9pm and Tuesday, May 21 from 2pm-9pm. Funeral service to be held from St. George's Anglican Church, Petty Harbour on Wednesday, May 22 at 2pm. Interment to follow at St. George’s Anglican Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. George’s Anglican Church, Petty Harbour.
