Arthur Edward Pink — PLACENTIA

PINK Arthur Edward December 18, 1936 - June 24, 2019 Passed peacefully away at the Placentia Health Centre, Arthur Edward Pink of Southeast Placentia, formerly of Cape La Hune, at the age 82 years. Predeceased by his parents Fred and Katherine Pink; brothers Max (Mary) and Clyde (Margaret); and sisters Lizzie (Garf Marsden), Maggie (Jerry Barter), Gladys (Allan Marsden), and Mary Ann (Ed Young). Leaving to mourn his wife Viola; sons Danny and Derek (April); sister Shirley (Jim Baggs); faithful friend Dusty; brothers-in-law Rod (Mathilda Pomroy) of St. John's, and Gerard (Carter and Rita Pomroy) of Placentia; sisters-in-law Theresa (Tom Leonard) of Placentia, Madonna Pomroy of Southeast Placentia, and Angela (Gary Hodgkinson) of Kingston ON; special friends Dominic and Madonna Fitzgerald; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Alfiya, nurses Wendy, Joyce, Erica, Danielle, and Brenda, student nurse Brittany, as well as all of the staff at the Placentia Health Centre for their care. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia. Visitation to take place on Tuesday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. Funeral Service to take place at 11am on Wednesday, June 26th at Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia, followed by interment at Dermot McGettigan Memorial Cemetery, Southeast Placentia.
