PARSONS Arthur B. Mr. Arthur B. Parsons, originally from Freshwater, passed away peacefully at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, September 27, 2020. He was 84 years old. Art was a long-time resident of Gander and resided in Carbonear in recent years. He was predeceased by his wife Gladys (Slade) in 1998. Left with fond memories are his partner: Sharon Dean; sons: Maxwell (Janet) & David (Sandra); grandchildren: Ryan, Matthew, Tamara (Michael Kotar) & Andrew (Leah Weir). Great grandchildren; John & Luke Kotar and a large circle of family and friends. At Art’s request, cremation has taken place. The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home, Powell Drive, Carbonear on Tuesday: 11 A.M.-12 Noon & 2-5 P.M. The Funeral Service will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, September 30th from Bethany United Church & Cemetery, Carbonear by invitation only. In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in his loving memory to Bethany United Church, Carbonear.
