Audrey Francis Ruby
RUBY Audrey Francis (Boyles) Aged 88 Heaven gained another angel with the passing of our dear Audrey Francis Ruby (Boyles) on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, in the arms of her loving Son Roger, while being cradled with love and support during her final hours with prayers, song and stories with her family by her side. One of five children, Audrey was born February 16, 1932 to Robert and Theresa Boyles and grew up in Kilbride. There she met and fell in love with Eric Ruby. Married in 1955, together they raised their two beautiful Children, Roger and Wendy, on Westvale Farm. They were blessed to share their love and family, in a parenting role, as Foster Parents to numerous children, through the Foster Care Program in NL for over twenty years. Audrey’s spirit flows with kindness, warmth and faith. She served her community and church, as a member of the ACW, Choirs and numerous charity fundraising ventures. Audrey loved a good card game and volunteered for many years at Ruby Manor Retirement home, before becoming a resident, many years later, along with her Husband Eric. Audrey’s love for family and life, was evident, as she was dedicated to her Husband, Children, Grand Children and family. This past year, she was delighted to take on a new role as Great Grandmother!
