Audrey Winsor (nee Oakley)

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 17, at Pleasantview Towers. Pre-deceased by her parents Cecil and Trixie Oakley. Leaving behind loving husband Gerald, son Greg (Wanda), daughter Jana (Glenn Sullivan), beloved grandchildren Joshua (Patricia Allan), Geoffrey, Jack and Georgia. Brothers Wilburn (Trixie), Bruce (Barbara) Oakley. Audrey was an RN from the Grace Hospital graduating class of 1960. Her favourite past time was socializing with her club crowd and Bridge partners, gardening and travelling. Most of all loved spending time with her beautiful grandchildren and her pup Sam. Heartfelt thanks to Elizabeth Kean, Linda Winter, Norma Sheppard and all nursing staff on 3 SouthWest, meeting you was the single positive result of this long painful journey. To caregivers Josephine O’Brien, Linda Daley, Janice May, Sushama Devi and Dianne Snarby, for your exceptional care, unwavering support, love and friendship. To Dr. Vinod Patal, R.N.’s Jennifer McNeil ad Lesley Hynes for providing compassionate end of life care. Your attention and presence were most comforting. Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home on Hamilton Avenue Tuesday March 19, 7-9 PM, Wednesday March 20, 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.
