RICE William Bernard “Bernie” 1947 - 2018 It is with great love, sadness and wonderful memories, the family of a dear Brother, Uncle and friend of many say goodbye as Bernard (Bernie) who was called to Heaven at his home in Trinity Bay on Saturday, March 10, 2018 to join his parents Leo F. Rice and Ellen J. Rice and his brothers Patrick, Andrew and Robert, sisters Joan and Catherine, brothers-in-law Lawrence McManus, Leo Hookey, Jerry Lawson. Left to mourn his former wife and friend Blanche Hickey and a long time special friend Betty, his siblings Leo (Lola) Rice, Gerald (Edna) Rice, Mary, Margaret (Lothar O’Guntke), Alice (Ray Clancy), Bernadette, Helen (Albert Thorne) and Janice (Paul Ryan), brother-in-law Ernie Noseworthy and sister-in-law Jackie Rice, as well as nieces and nephews and large circle of friends and family, and his best friend Bob Smith. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Bernie’s life will be announced at a later date. Rest in peace my sweet brother, friend and loved one you will be dearly missed.
