CONWAY Bernice Mary Passed peacefully away after a short illness in the presence of her loving family at the Health Sciences Centre, Bernice Mary Conway of Bell Island, in her 86th year. Predeceased by her precious son Johnny; husband Mike; parents Peter and Agnes Quigley; sisters: Roseanne and Helen; brothers: Mike, Peter and Gerald. Leaving to mourn and with precious memories, daughter Deann (Bill Weir) of CBS; son Michael of Gander; grandchildren: Jeannie and Johnathan Weir; sisters: Mary Robson (Jim) and Margaret Dobinson (Will); brothers: Tom (Bev), Brian (Ros), Andrew (Donna) and Kevin (Beth) Quigley; brother-in-law George Hann and sister-in-law Karen Quigley; many nieces, nephews and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Fraser Clift and the nursing staff of 4 South B, Dr. Patti Power and the staff of the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Centre and neighbour Charlotte Curnew. In accordance with her wishes cremation has already taken place. Visitation at Pendergast's Funeral Home, Bell Island on Friday October 2 from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral to take place on Saturday October 3 at 2 p.m. from St. Michael’s Church followed by inurnment at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bell Island. In lieu of flowers, donations to the SPCA, Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society greatly appreciated. The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.
