Bessie Elizabeth King

KING (WALSH) Bessie Elizabeth Dec. 18, 1935 – Aug. 1, 2020 It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of a Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister on Saturday, August 1st at the age of 84. Predeceased by her husband Harold, parents John & Emma Walsh and brother Harris Walsh. She leaves to mourn with loving memories her children Eric (Marilyn), Bonnie (Tony), Beverley (Don), Ed (Patti), David (Theresa), Bill (Gail) and Lloyd (Lorna), 16 grand children Jonathan, Keith, David (Lynn), Corey (Karen), Nancy (Cory), Derek (Goar), Daniel, Janella (Brent), Brett (Claire), Emily (Patrick), Catherine (Cody), Andrew (Laura), Curtis (Chelsea), Aaron (Breanna), Jordan and Jessica, 10 great-grandchildren Lily, Cael, Kayley, Ryan, Rachael, Carter, Brice, Emily, Mila and Charlotte, Sister Cicely Hefford (Lloyd deceased) Brother Bill Walsh (Sandra), sister in laws Ruth Walsh, Jackie King, and Eileen Green, brother in law Freeman (Sandi) and a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Bessie was a lifetime member of the United Church Woman, Rebeca and LOBA Lodges. Many thanks to the staff of Admirals Coast Retirement Home in Kelligrews (and especially her roommate Evelyn Morgan) where she resided for the past five years, the doctors and nurses at the Dialysis Unit at Eastern Health and the taxi drivers of CBS Taxi who transported her back and forth to her dialysis treatments. Donations in her memory can be made to the Dialysis Unit – Eastern Health.
