Betty Coombs

Mrs. Betty Coombs of Upper Island Cove passed away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, November 16, 2018. Mrs. Coombs was 76 years old. She leaves to mourn her loving family: daughter: Goldie (Phil) Mercer; son: Dean (Pearl) Coombs; grandchildren: Tyler Thompson, Jordan Thompson, Alexis Coombs, Benjamin Coombs & Jamie Pijogge; sister: Nellie (Max) Barrett; brothers: Reg (Joan) Smith & Tom (Ruby) Smith; sister-in-law: Marion Smith, and a number of other family & friends. Predeceased by: husband: Winston Coombs; parents: Reginald & Dorothy Smith; sisters: Gladys (Gordon) Barrett & Mary (Max) Windsor brother: Gordon Smith. The Funeral Service will be held at 2 P.M. on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from St. Peter’s Anglican Church & Cemetery, Upper Island Cove. The family will be receiving relatives and friends at SLADE'S FUNERAL HOME, CRANES ROAD, UPPER ISLAND COVE on Sunday: 3 - 9 P.M., Monday: 10:30 A.M. – 9 P.M. & Tuesday: 10:30 A.M. – 1 P.M.
