HRYNIW Bill It is with heavy hearts that the family of Bill Hryniw announce his passing, peacefully at home, on Thursday, May 28, 2020, at the age of 72. Born and raised in Windsor, Ontario, Bill moved to St John’s, Newfoundland where he worked as an engineer before retiring to London, Ontario. Bill was a kind, generous, gentle man who was the picture of unconditional love and patience as he raised and cared for his two disabled children. He is predeceased by his first wife, Jeanette, his second wife, Diana, and his son, Robbie. Bill was an accomplished professional golfer, eventually becoming the very first player inducted into the Newfoundland and Labrador Golf Hall of Fame and later he became the only golfer to be inducted into the Newfoundland and Labrador Sports Hall of Fame. In lieu of flowers, sympathy cards would be very much valued by his surviving son, Joe, and can be sent to 608 Southdale Rd. E. London ON N6E 1A6.
