BUTLER Blanche Bernice November 9, 1931 – January 18, 2021 It is with deep sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Blanche Bernice Butler (Tucker) on January 18, 2021, at the age of 89 years young. Mom is predeceased by her partner and best-friend, Bill Martin (2016) and daughter, Bonnie Butler (2013). Leaving to celebrate her life are son, John Butler (Marina Kocheulova), daughter, Crystal Delaney (George), grandchildren, Crystal Butler (Doug Burke), Adrian Delaney (Ashley Hanlon), Cynthia White (Bryant), and Charlene Ralph (Ryan); great-grandchildren, Kristi Burke and Ellie Ralph; sister, Fern Butler and brother, Mac Tucker; Bill’s children - Steve Beckwith (Judy), Sandra Squires (Dick), Brenda Mate (Fred), and their families, along with numerous friends, nieces, and nephews who loved her dearly. A heartfelt thank you to Moya Tucker for making her daily calls and weekly visits to Mom at Heritage Square Retirement Home. To Roger, Don, and Jim Butler for always checking on her whenever they visited their mom, Fern. And to Jennifer Mate who rarely missed a Thursday call. We would also like to thank Allison, Jane, and all the staff at Heritage Square for the outstanding care, compassion, and respect they showed Mom during the past year. Following Mom’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Family will receive visitors at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Wednesday, January 20 from 5-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from St. Philip’s Anglican Church on Thursday, January 21 at 10 a.m. with interment to follow in St. Philip’s Cemetery. COVID regulations apply – non-surgical masks are mandatory and social distancing measures in place.
