BEST Calvin Mildrich Passed peacefully away at Pleasant View Towers with family at his side, Calvin Mildrich Best, age 70 years. Predeceased by his mother and father Thomas and Gladys Best, aunts, uncles and other loved ones. Leaving to mourn brothers Tom (Lynn), Cluney, Reg (Cora), Perry and Floyd (Lynn); sisters Barbara and Catriona; sister-in-law Betty; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and special uncle Frank Chafe. The family would like to extend a special thanks to niece Leslie Ann, the caring and compassionate staff of Woodford Manor in Holyrood and Pleasant View Towers who went above and beyond to make Calvin’s days the best they could be. The family will never forget the kindness and love shown to Calvin and his family. An honourable mention to Jenny. Thank you all again. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue with visitations on Sunday and Monday, June 16th & 17th from 12pm-4pm & 7pm-9pm. Funeral service to be held from St. George’s Anglican Church, Petty Harbour on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 2pm. Interment to follow at St. George’s Anglican Cemetery.
