Carmel Catherine Johnston (nee French) — ST JOHN'S

Johnston Carmel Catherine (nee French) Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family on June 16, 2019 at St. Luke’s Homes, Carmel Johnston, aged 91 years. Predeceased by her brother Harold “Bud” French. Leaving to mourn her husband Clyde “Johnny”; children Gary (Denise Lear), Jeffrey and Diane (Rob) Vincer; grandchildren Kate Drover and Jordan and Jenna Vincer; and great grandchildren Emily Johnston and Alice Drover; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A special thank you to her St. Luke’s Family, for their care and compassion shown towards her during her stay. The family will accept visitors at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Tuesday June 18 from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday June 19 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday June 20 from the Carnell Memorial Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Carmel’s memory may be made to St. Luke’s Homes.
