STURGE Charlie Jan 14, 1929 – April 7, 2020 Passed peacefully away on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at the Health Sciences Centre, Charlie Sturge, age 91 years. Predeceased by his wife Rita; parents Charles & Julia; sisters Blanche Janes, Elsie Sturge, and Ethel Pelley. Leaving to mourn sons Wayne (Linda), and Derrick (Gennie); grandchildren Lori (Jeff), Trevor (Chris), and Jason; great-grandchildren Austin, Logan, Luke, and Callie; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic visitation and funeral service will take place at a later date. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Hillcrest Estates, Mt. Carson Avenue, Mount Pearl. In lieu of flowers, donations in Charlie’s memory may be made to the Salvation Army Citadel, Adam’s Avenue.
