Clifford Mackey

Passed peacefully away on Thursday February 14, 2019 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital Clifford Mackey, age 67. Predeceased by his father Thomas and brother Albert. Left with fond memories: son Chad and Family; mother Mary; sisters: Winnie Walsh, Rita (John) Jardine, Angela (Winnie), Johanna (Larry) Drover,and Alice (Stan) Regular; brothers: Joe (Sadie), Harold (Rita), Cyril (Classie), Gerald (Pauline), Tom (Dana), Ray, Terry, and Len (Cindy) and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Clifford had a distinguished career in the Royal Canadian Air Force, in which he served for 41 years at numerous bases in Canada and Europe along with peacekeeping missions in Cypress Greece, retiring at the rank of Sargent. Clifford will be resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home in Mount Pearl NL with visitation on Tuesday, February 19th, from 1:00- 4:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm. Memorial service will be from Barrett’s Chapel on Wednesday, February 20th at 11:00am. Internment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
