DOHERTY Corrine Michelle March 29, 1963 – June 20, 2019 It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear Corrine - Mother, Daughter, Sister and Friend. She passed peacefully away on her own terms following a short but courageous battle with Cancer. Pre-deceased by her Father Jim Doherty 1980. She is survived by partner Bill Barry, her Mother Vera, Daughter Amanda Schumph, Brother Wayne, Sister and best friend Carol Anne (Randy), Carol Anne’s twin Brother Colin (Brenda), nieces and nephews as well as many relatives and friends. Special thanks to our niece Michelle Doherty who was always there when we needed her the most. While our hearts are broken we have a lifetime of special memories of Corrine.A heartfelt thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at 4 North A, Health Science Centre, St. John’s. As per Corrine’s wishes cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, St. John’s. A Memorial service in her memory will be held at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church in Portugal Cove St. Philips on Monday, June 24th at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to The SPCA would be greatly appreciated. To leave a message of condolence, please visit www.carnells.com. He knew that you were suffering. He knew you were in pain. He knew that you would never get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb. So he closed your weary eyelids and said, “Peace be thine”. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn’t go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
