GILLARD David Brian May 29, 1963 - July 08, 2020 After a long struggle with mental illness, Dave passed away by suicide on July 8, 2020. Predeceased by parents Elizabeth and William; brother Bill; and parents-in-law Carmel and Bill Walsh. Leaving to mourn, with precious memories, are his wife Dorothy; brother Bob (Sonya); sister Marie (Jack); sisters-in-law Yvonne Gillard, Anne Walsh, Sharon Purcell (Roger), Patti Walsh (Ed Connolly), Mary Walsh, and Carmel Walsh (Greg Power); brothers-in-law Bill Walsh (Andrea) and David Walsh (Kim), and many beloved nieces and nephews, cousins, co-workers and friends. Dave will always be remembered as an avid photographer, lover of nature, pet-lover of many dogs, most recently Abby and Baxter, and advocate of those struggling with mental illnesses. Donations can be made to The Gathering Place or the Dr Jack Hand Foundation. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private funeral and burial will be held. May his gentle soul Rest In Peace
