Don Rooney

ROONEY Don August 28, 1937 – December 12, 2019 Passed peacefully away on Thursday, December 12, 2019, Don Rooney, loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, mason, Shriner, businessman and photographer. Predeceased by parents Mona (Howell) and Bert; sister Bobbi (McNeilly); niece Cathy (McNeilly). Leaving to mourn his wife, Blanche; daughters Kathleen, Joanne (Gerry Hickey); Sandy (Chris Andrews); light of his life granddaughter Steph (Adam MacDonald); sister, Elizabeth (Doug Theriault), Stephen and Paul, Robin and Geoff McNeilly and many other beloved nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, relatives and friends. Special thanks to the Respiratory Care Specialists Team, Dr.’s Gibbons and Vidyasankar, and the Palliative Care Unit at the Miller Centre for their kindness and compassion through these last years. As per Dad’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a gathering of family and friends for a celebration of life at a later date. We love you Dad.
