Donald Harvey

Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at the Dr. Leonard A. Miller Centre, St. John's on Wednesday, August 22, 2018, Donald Harvey of St. John's, formerly of Freshwater, Carbonear, age 101 years. He was a warm-hearted and kind man who touched the lives of many. Predeceased by first wife Susie, second wife Elizabeth 'Beth', granddaughter Nicole, brother Charles, and sister Hazel. Leaving to mourn his loving and devoted son Gregory (Sheila), Mount Pearl; step-daughter Judy Symonds, Carbonear; step-grandchildren: Todd (Lisa) Symonds, Jillian (Joe) Roberts and Matthew Symonds; step-great-grandson Evan Roberts; special nephew John (Lise) Harvey, their two children: Joel and Maxine (Michael); brother-in-law Harold Morris; cousins: Eric, John, Frank and Sidney Parsons; in-laws: the Pittmans, Knotts, Whites and Hiscocks: special friends: Wilbur and Karen Bugden, their two children: Luke and Kate, Brian and Debbie McNamara, their two children: Briana and Brent; and Olive Hussey who was a close and dear friend; also a number of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The family wishes to thank the residents and staff at Karwood Retirement Retreat; also to Dr. Pittman, Dr. Robbins, and Dr. White for their compassion and care shown over the years.
