Donald Joseph Maher

MAHER Donald Joseph Passed peacefully away at the age of 75 on Saturday, February 8th, 2020 at the Dr. L.A. Miller Centre, Palliative Care Unit. Donnie is predeceased by his parents Arthur and Irene Maher. After a short illness, he leaves to mourn his brothers: Arthur, Ernest (Gladys) and Cyril; his nephews Michael (Aimee) and Jason (Sherri) and his great nephews Jayden, Harrison and Henry. Donnie will also be missed by his extended family and the members of the community that knew him as the kind and gentle soul he was. Special thanks are extended to the Medical Teams of 5 South A, Health Science Centre and the Palliative Care Unit at the Dr. L.A. Miller Centre. As per Donnie’s wishes, cremation has taken place with no visitation. A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Donnie’s life will take place at a later date.
