KANE Doreen Aug. 5, 1960 - Oct. 22, 2020 Passed away peacefully on October 22, 2020, Doreen Kane, aged 60 years. Predeceased by her parents Elizabeth and Cecil Kane, and brother Gordon Kane. Left to mourn with loving memories are her sisters Pauline (Robert Pomeroy) and Janet (Brian Collins); brothers Kevin (Betty), Lloyd (Linda), Robert (Joanne) and David; and, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, co-workers and neighbours. Having retired from a professional career, Doreen was an avid gardener who took great pride in her beautiful garden. She also thoroughly enjoyed quilting and crafting with friends and family, and gifted special quilts and projects to charities. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held for her loving family only from Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Monday, October 26 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A private funeral service will take place at St. Michael’s and All Angels on Tuesday, October 27 at 2 p.m. for family only.
