KITCHEN Dr. Hubert W. Devoted husband, father, grandfather, educator and politician, Hubert Kitchen, passed peacefully away in St. John’s on Saturday, July 18th, 2020, age 91 years. Beloved husband of the late Jennifer (nee Rooney). He will be dearly missed by his children: Karl and Kathryn Nowak (Brian); brothers: Harold (Grace) and George (Mary); grandchildren: Sean, Isla, and Emma; as well as many relatives and friends. Predeceased by brothers: John (Geraldine) and David (Karen); and by sister, Margaret Thorne (George). Visitation to take place at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 from 12noon-3pm. Funeral Service to follow at Barrett’s Chapel at 3:00pm.
