Edward Patrick Maher

It is with great sadness that the family of Edward Patrick Maher announce his passing on March 17, 2018 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, at the age of 78. Edward passed peacefully surrounded by family and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Edward and Catherine and brother, Jim. Leaving to mourn his children, Chris (Tanya) and Wendy (Gilles). His partner of 37 years, Sadie and her children, grandchildren and extended family. Brothers, Billy and John (Ellen). Sisters, Joan, Marie (Bob), Carol-Ann (Dave), Linda (Stead), Deb (Tony). His treasured grandchildren, Brooke, Sam, Noah and Maggie. Special thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and staff of 7 East and to the Ennis Sisters for singing our loved one home. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home on Monday and Tuesday from 2pm-9pm. Funeral Service will take place at 2pm on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 from Caul’s Chapel with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Edward’s memory may be made to the Lung Association of Newfoundland Labrador.
