Edward Power

Passed away peacefully on Monday, June 18, 2018 in his 81st year but will forever remain in our hearts. Beloved husband of 59 years to Kathleen. Dear father of Lynn (Guy), Catherine (Mark), James (Caroline), Susanne and Joni (Andrew). Loving grandfather to Luc, Justin, Alyssa, Scott, Henry, Sarah and Jenn, and great-grandchildren Kaila, Masen, Brooklyn, Hannah, Owen and Ava. Predeceased by his parents Sarah Baker and Michael Power and siblings Alice Mallard (Cyril) and Jimmy. Leaving to mourn, brothers John and Michael (Annie) and sisters Mary Edwards (Joe), Patricia Corbett (Dan, deceased) and Arlene - all of St. John's, NL. Edward will also deeply missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A special thank you to the Élisabeth Bruyère Hospital for their loving care and support. The family will be holding a private service. Memorial donations may be made to the Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County. A memorial Mass will be held in St. John's at a later date.
