Elizabeth Bennett (nee Penney)

Passed peacefully away at her home in the presence of her loving family our beloved mother on Saturday, March 23, 2019, Elizabeth (Betty) Bennett, aged 96 years of Holyrood. Predeceased by her husband Frank, son William (Bill), brothers: John and Ben. Left with fond and loving memories are her children: Michael (Annabelle), Clara Dumont (John), Helen Brennan (Edward), John (Mary Jane), Peter (Janice), Robert (Valerie), Philip (Marie) and Elizabeth (Joe), her 19 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and a large circle of extended family and friends. Resting at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral will take place on Thursday, March 28, 2019 following 10:30 am Mass of Christian Burial from Holy Cross Church, Holyrood. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Holyrood. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Holy Cross Church or a charity of one’s choice.
