CLARKE Elizabeth “Betty” (nee Percy) Passed peacefully away at Pleasant View Towers in the presence of her loving husband of 60 years on Thursday, August 22, 2019, Elizabeth “Betty” Clarke, age 84 years. Predeceased by her parents Rupert & Rita Percy and sister Yvonne Summers (Eric). Leaving to mourn her husband Roy; son Darrell (Olive) of Kitchener, ON; daughter Donna (Derek Sullivan) of St. John’s; grandchildren Stephanie of Kitchener, ON, Lindsay of Toronto, ON, Parker and Casey of St. John’s; siblings Rupert, Cecil (Betty), Marilyn Curtis (Eugene), Cynthia Fowler (Robert), Doug (Daphne), Derek (Laurie), Lynn (Dave Tibbo) and Wayne (Sandy); numerous nieces, nephews and a large circle of friends (too many to mention). Special thanks to Dr. Genge and all the wonderful nurses and staff on 3NE at Pleasant View Towers and Debbie. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue with visitations on Sunday, August 25th from 7pm-9pm and Monday, August 26th from 2pm-4pm & 7pm-9pm. Funeral service to be held from Barrett’s Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, August 27th at 11am. Interment to follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Betty’s memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
