Elizabeth Marion “Betty” Evans

EVANS, Elizabeth Marion “Betty” Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, our dear sister, Elizabeth “Betty” Evans, age 73 years. Predeceased by her loving mother and father, Beatrice and Frank Evans; nephew, W.O. Richard Nolan (killed in Afghanistan, 2006). Leaving to mourn sisters: Patsy (Ron Bavis), Maureen Nolan, Geraldine (Gord Stockley); brothers: Richard (Liz, deceased), Gerald (Patsy); special niece, Debbie Hussey; as well as other nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Special thank you to the staff of St. Patrick’s Mercy Home, 3 North, and also the staff of Meadow Creek Retirement Centre in Paradise where she resided for 11 years. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Friday, April 19, from 12noon-8pm. Funeral service will take place from Barrett’s Chapel on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at 10:00 am, with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. No flowers by request.
