Elizabeth Warren

WARREN Elizabeth (nee Picco) Passed away peacefully at the Health Science, St. John’s NL, in her 84th year, Friday Nov. 20th, 2020. Formally of Bell Island, NL, She was predeceased by her loving husband Gerald (2009), Parents, John and Violet Picco, twin sister Florence Matthews, and brother Albert. Leaving to mourn nieces Beverly Matthews, Barbara Matthews, nephews Derek Matthews, Fredrick Matthews, and many cousins, especially Buck and Cavell Picco who were always there for her when they were needed the most. Elizabeth will be sadly missed by special friends Paula and David Parsons, Alice Spencer, John Hussey, and Frank Murphy who were all there when she needed someone to lean on. We will all miss her dearly. Special thanks to Danielle and the rest of the staff at the Heritage Square Retirement Home, CBS, for their care and compassion that she received. I know she has left many memories for everyone who knew her, especially her love for her cats. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Janeway Children’s Wish Foundation, the SPCA, or a charity of your choice. Cremation to take place and service and internment will be announced at a later date at St. Cyprian’s St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Bell Island. “Do not grieve for me as I’m going to a better place.”
