Eric Bickford

Passed peacefully away on Monday, February 18, 2019, age 75 years. Left to celebrate his life and share wonderful memories are his wife Mary (Tilley), children Heather (Greg) and Darin, grandchildren Erica (Ben) and Kyle (Alicia), and new great-grandson Noah. Also sharing in the loss are his brothers James, Chellis (Inez), and Stewart (Barb), sisters Elaine (Reuben), Sandra, and Cynthia, brothers-in-law Hayward, Steve, Jerry (Barb) and Dean (Carolyn), sisters-in-law Edna and Charmian (Randy), and a large circle of extended family and friends. Eric was predeceased by his parents Susanna and James (Sr.) Bickford, mother and father-in-law Dorothy and Lance Tilley, sisters Minnie, Louise, Hazel, and Frances, sisters-in-law Marg and Jean, brothers-in-law Ed and Doug. Visitation in the Pendergast Funeral Home, Quigley’s Line, Bell Island on Thursday, February 21st, 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm and Friday, February 22nd, 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm. Funeral service in the Church of St. Cyprian and St. Mary, Bell Island, on Saturday February 23rd at 2 pm. Interment in the St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lance Cove, Bell Island. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Church of St. Cyprian and St. Mary, Bell Island, or a charity of one’s choice.
