Eric Chafe

CHAFE Eric Benjamin June 8, 1949 – September 12, 2019 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Eric B. Chafe of Goulds, Newfoundland, at the age of 70 years. Predeceased by Eric and Alfreda Chafe, and his uncle John and Aunt Georgie Chafe who raised him. Leaving to mourn are his sisters: Sandra (Edmund, deceased) Durdle, Glenys (Bill) Gorman, Ruby (Fred, deceased) Grouchy, and Elizabeth Chafe (Carl); brothers: Gordon Chafe, Kelvin (Lisa) Chafe and Geoff (Joyce) Chafe; best friends Dave and Tammy Chafe, Rick Greenham, his dart buddies and his nieces and nephews. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, on Tuesday, September 17th, 2019 from 1 – 4 p.m & 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Goulds, on Thursday, September 19th, 2019 at 2 p.m with inurnment to follow in the parish cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted, or donations in Eric’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of one’s choice.
